We’re one of the most ‘online’ countries in the world. As of May 2007 there were close to 16 million users online. Out of a population of just over 20 million, that makes us one of the most net savvy countries, which is good news for those of us making a living online!

The other good news is that predictions on Australian usage exceeded expectations by 127%.

Online revenue now accounts for 6% of total business revenue in, which is equivalent to around $43 billion of our GDP. Added to that, online income is growing at an annualised rate of 33%.

The picture I’m getting at here is that it’s big business and the only way to get your share is with a sensible online marketing strategy. Do you have your share of the pie?
